Four ESR positions are still open. Apply now till April 3!

We are still looking for Early Stage Researchers for the following four projects:

 

ESR4: Detection of resistant isolates of C. albicans and C. glabrata

This ESR's goal will be to identify a set of resistance markers for azole and echinocandin resistant yeasts to be developed in to diagnostic markers.

ESR8: Candida Proteomic responses to antifungals

This ESR's goal will be to identify antifungal resistance biomarkers in main pathogenic Candida species and the isolation and assessment of llama antibodies against selected candidate biomarkers.
 

ESR10: Improved diagnosis of yeast pathogens by MALDI-TOF MS proteomics

This ESR's goal will be to establish a general protocol for enrichment of Candida yeast cells out of body fluids and subsequent MALDI-TOF analysis directly on clinical samples.
 

ESR13: Development of Llama antibody technology for Candida diagnostics

This ESR's goal will be to identify a panel of purification columns based on the selected llama antibodies that have proven functionality on beads to purify and diagnose Candida species from clinical samples.
