The first OPATHY annual meeting/ summer school took place from the 28th of August till 2nd of September at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. During the meeting all Early Stage Researchers had the opportunity to present their individual research projects and discuss the first results among each other and with the PIs. Furthermore the ESRs got a theoretical and practical training in yeast infection models, project management and gender aspects in research.
